Although most travelers call a journey to Africa "the trip of a lifetime", the reality is that for many it will be the first of numerous trips to the continent due to the lure and magic of this magnificent destination. Known as 'the greatest show on earth', the great migration is one of nature's most magnificent sights. This is the annual journey from Tanzania to Kenya as the animals follow the rains and new grass. The most commonly asked question regarding the migration is "when can I see the migration?" and the correct answer to that is 365 days a year! My preference is seeing it in the Maasai Mara in Kenya which would be August through October.
